Royal Voluntary Service

Type of service:

Social & Community Services – Services in the Community

Areas where this service is available:

  • Clackmannanshire – all areas
  • Stirling – all areas

Royal Voluntary Service can help older people maintain their independence and stay involved in the local community. Services available in your local area include:

Help at Home – As everyone is different, Royal Voluntary Service can tailor support to your individual needs. We’ll visit you at home and work with you to create a support package that suits you.

Help in Hospital – Whether you’re visiting or staying in hospital, we understand the worries that this can cause. We have volunteers at information points who can help you find your way round the hospital or taking you if you’re not so mobile, we’ll even wait with you while you’re at your appointment.

Help in the Community – We recognise how important transport is to keep you connected with local services, medical appointments or just to keep with touch with friends and family. Whether you live in the countryside or in towns or suburbs, our community transport services can keep you mobile.

We have volunteers across Forth Valley who offer help and support so older people can stay independent at home in Stirling, Falkirk, Dunblane, West Stirlingshire, Callander and the surrounding areas.
